These terms govern your use of the Medical Exchange website and network, operated by BSTRAP ("we", "us"). By using the site or the service, you agree to these terms.

This is a plain-language version provided for transparency. It is not legal advice, and it will be expanded as the service grows.

Who may use the service

The Medical Exchange network is offered to medical practices and their partners by invitation. You must be authorized to act for your practice and provide accurate information when requesting access.

Acceptable use

Messages, including SMS, are sent only to recipients who have consented. Message and data rates may apply and message frequency varies. Recipients can reply STOP to opt out at any time and HELP for help. You are responsible for obtaining any consent required before asking us to message patients on your behalf.

Privacy and health information

Our handling of information is described in our Privacy Policy. Members are responsible for their own obligations regarding protected health information and for using the service consistently with applicable law and any agreement between us.

Availability and changes

We work to keep the service reliable but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. We may update, suspend, or discontinue features, and we may update these terms; continued use after an update means you accept the change.

Disclaimers and liability

The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind to the extent permitted by law. Medical Exchange is a coordination and communication service and does not provide medical advice or care. To the extent permitted by law, our liability is limited.
